For the first time, Madurai has got its multi-level automated car parking facility. A textile showroom, Rajmahal, has provided this facility in east Avani Mool Street, near Sri Meenakshi Temple, in which about 40 cars of all sizes can be parked with ease.
RR Parkon Private Ltd, a manufacturer-provider has built the facility for Rajmahal customers. According to Mr Balachandran Dharmen, Director of the company, depending on the space available a right model for the clients could be built and at any given time, a vehicle could be taken out in 100 seconds.
Mechanised car parking helps a large number of cars getting parked in a systematic way and thefts and mischief can be avoided. The company has completed over 100 projects across the country, he added.
