Creditsafe, a Norway-based firm that provides business intelligence information, has picked 75 per cent equity in Skua Services that will act as its captive development centre. It, however, has not disclosed the investment figures.
The Norwegian group helps clients with all information about businesses that they might transact with. With over 1,200 employees in nine countries, including the US, the UK, France and Germany, the firm has over 90,000 subscriptions.
Skua Services was founded by Kishore Reddy Kancherla, a former employee of Creditsafe in the UK. He would have 25 per cent equity in the company.
The development centre in Hyderabad would support Creditsafe’s global operations. “We have hired 10 employees for now. We will have another centre in Mumbai,” Kishore said.
