In a filing with the NSE, Bajaj Corp Ltd said that the board of directors (at its meeting held on November 28) has passed a resolution to increase the limit of total holding of all Registered Foreign Portfolio Investors (namely Foreign Institutional Investors and Qualified Foreign Investors) in the equity share capital of the company from the existing 24 per cent to 49 per cent.
The board has also approved convening an Extraordinary General Meeting of the company’s shareholders on December 30 to seek their approval for the increase in foreign holding limit.
