Auto stock maintained their firm trend to stay ahead of the pack on the BSE in late trading on Wednesday. At 2.40 pm Hero MotoCorp held on to its position as the top gainer, edging higher to hold gains of 3.74 per cent at ₹3,107 as against ₹2,995.10 at close on Tuesday.
Tata Motors made further gains to quote at ₹519.55, up 3.56 per cent on its previous close at ₹501.70.
Maruti Suzuki zipped up 3.16 per cent to quote at ₹3,173 as against ₹3,075.90 at close yesterday.
Bajaj Auto gained 3.14 per cent at ₹2,489.10. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹2,413.25.
M&M rode up 2.54 per cent at ₹1,260.20. The stock had ended the overnight session at ₹1,229.
