Increased arrivals and sluggish demand from millers have dragged prices of almost all pulse seeds in Indore mandis. Rise in arrival of new urad has pounded its prices in local mandis in the past one week by ₹200-400 a quintal. On Friday, urad (old) declined to ₹4,400-4,700, while new urad was quoted at ₹3,600-4,000.

Urad dal (medium) was being quoted at ₹5,100-5,300, urad dal (bold) at ₹5,400-5,500, while urad mongar ruled at ₹6,700-6,800.

Masur (bold) declined to ₹5,550-5,600 (down ₹150 from last week), while masur (Madhya Pradesh) ruled stable at ₹5,000-5,200. Masur dal (average) was at ₹6,500, masur dal (medium) at ₹6,600, while masur dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,800.Moong (new) in local mandis further declined by ₹100 to ₹6,200-6,300, while moong (medium) was at ₹5,000-5,500. Moong dal (medium) was ₹6,600-6,800, moong dal (bold) at ₹6,700-7,100, while moong mongar ruled at ₹8,100-8,300.
