ING Investment Management Asia Pacific has announced the promotion of Ramanathan K as Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer.
Ramanathan, who was previously the Chief Investment Officer —Single Manager Investments, will now lead the entire investment team of ING Investment Management India, based out of Mumbai, said a release from the fund house. Ramanathan has been with ING IM India for more than 6 years.
Sources said that Arvind Bansal, Vice-President and Head (Multi-managers), and Prashanth Y. Narayan, Vice-President and Head — PMS of the fund house had put in their papers.
Axis Capital, Baird in tie up
Axis Capital, investment banking arm of Axis Bank, has announced tie-up with Baird, an international financial services firm. The alliance would have an initial focus on cross-border mergers and acquisitions between India and Europe, and India and the US, said Axis Capital in an announcement.
The alliance between Baird and Axis Capital is on an exclusive basis. While the initial focus is cross-border M&A, the relationship between the two banks also encompasses other investment banking engagements.
