Telecom player Reliance Communications and State-run Rural Electrification Corporation will move out of the NSE’s Nifty Next 50 index from September 30.

In their place, InterGlobe Aviation, which runs low-cost carrier IndiGo, and Piramal Enterprises would be included in the index.
The changes, announced by India Index Services and Products, an arm of the NSE, will be effective from September 30, 2016.
Further, Reliance Communications, Rural Electrification Corporation and Aditya Birla Nuvo would become part of NSE’s Nifty Midcap 50 index, while Allahabad Bank, Justdial and Syndicate Bank would move out of the index.
