Bajaj Hindusthan has gained on share allotment to lenders. The Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd shares gained 5.6 per cent.
The shares are heading towards their biggest single-day gain since February 18.
The company has allotted 171 million shares to its lenders at Rs 21.77 each, a premium of 57.8 per cent to its Monday's close.
Shares have fallen nearly 18 per cent in March compared with a 4.4 per cent fall in the broader NSE index.
