Shares of Berger Paints will turn ex-bonus on Friday. The company is rewarding its shareholders with a 2:5 bonus issue (two bonus shares for every five shares held). Investors whose names appear on the book of Berger Paints as on July 18 (Monday) will receive the bonus shares.
That means those interested in receiving the bonus shares will have to buy the shares by Thursday. Currently, about 25 per cent stake is being held by the public in the paints major.
