Mumbai: BSE and Eurex are now technology partners. BSE has agreed to use Eurex’s technology platform and deploy Deutsche Börse Group’s trading architecture. With this, BSE would replace its derivatives market platform this calendar.

The exchange also plans to replace its cash market platform later. “We expect our technology alliance with Eurex will help BSE to compete more effectively in India, to help us attract more international participants into our marketplace and improve our market share in derivatives and equity trading,” said Ashish Chauhan, MD and CEO of BSE.

This agreement will align BSE, Eurex Exchange and ISE markets on a common trading infrastructure and reduce IT costs for shared customers, said a BSE statement. This would also enable cross-listing among the three exchanges.
