Pharma stock Cipla and Dr Reddy’s Labs were firm but off their morning highs in late trading on the BSE on Monday. At 3.30 pm Cipla held gains of 2.64 per cent at ₹628.70 as against its previous close at ₹612.55.
Dr Reddy’s Labs edged lower to hold gains of 0.32 per cent at ₹2,970.65. The stock had ended the previous week at ₹2,961.05.
Hero MotoCorp gained 1.49 per cent to trade at ₹2,798. The share had closed Friday’s session at ₹2,756.90.
HDFC Bank also trimmed its gains by close. It was quoting at ₹859.65. This represented a gain of 0.50 per cent on its overnight close at ₹855.35.
