Shareholders of Kotak Mahindra Bank have approved a special resolution on issue of non-convertible debentures worth up to ₹5,000 crore in Indian or foreign currency to domestic or overseas investors on private placement basis. The voting pattern, available with the exchanges, indicates the proposal received approval of almost the entire shareholders (99.9 per cent). Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank edged down 1.84 per cent at ₹1,043.5 on the BSE.

PTL Enterprises has informed the BSE that the High Court of Kerala in an order on September 19 directed the company to defer an agenda of AGM notice for special resolution to approve the sale of two hotels. PTL Enterprises, part of the Apollo Tyres group, had convened an AGM on Monday to seek shareholder nod to sell Artemis Health Sciences Ltd and Artemis Medical Services Ltd for ₹181 crore. The Kerala Government, which is a minority shareholder, moved court against the decision. Shares of PTL Enterprises jumped 9.6 per cent at ₹45.85.

The board of directors of Oswal Overseas on Monday decided to increase the paid-up capital of the company by issuing preference shares for ₹3 crore (through 30 lakh shares) via private placement. The Oswal Overseas stock closed at ₹5.35, up 4.9 per cent on the BSE.
