Prism Cement has informed the exchanges that it has received a Letter of Intent from Madhya Pradesh Government for allotment of cement grade limestone mining lease for 50 years in villages Chulhi and Majhiyar in Satna District, with about 23.6 million tonnes of reserves, subject to completion of formalities. The application for this mining lease was made under the earlier regulations and it was under process by the State government. The mining lease would be captive to the cement plants of the company at Satna. Shares of Prism Cement gained 3.63 per cent at ₹118.35 on the NSE.
Capital First has informed the exchanges that as part of strategic investment, the company has entered into an investment agreement with Sienna Systems Resources Pvt Ltd (Sienna) and its promoter to acquire about 8 per cent of equity and 2 per cent of equity share warrants of the share capital of Sienna. The stock of Capital First slipped 0.68 per cent at ₹763.70 on the NSE.
India Glycols has informed the exchanges that after receiving all necessary approvals by its joint venture firm KIFTPL, the EXIM rake handling at ICD, Kashipur, operations have commenced from April 26. Following this, the freight terminal of KIFTPL has become fully operational. Shares of India Glycols closed at ₹169.55, a gain of ₹1.22 per cent on the NSE.
