YC Deveshwar, Chairman and Wholetime Director of ITC Ltd has sold 8 lakh shares of the company for approximately ₹29 crore. The shares were sold in two tranches, one on March 20 and another on March 21, the company said in a release to the bourses. On March 20, Deveshwar sold 3.50 lakh shares and another 4.50 lakh for ₹16 crore on March 21. He now holds over 19 lakh shares or a 0.0245 per cent in the company.
