The board of directors of Excel Industries will meet on Monday to consider a buyback proposal.
Traders and investors will be keen to know the price, size and mode of the proposed buyback. Currently, about 13,834 small investors hold 32.69 per cent stake and nine high net worth individuals 4.05 per cent in the crop protection and specialty chemicals company.
In all 48.98 per cent shares of the company are held by public shareholders.
