GAIL (India) extended its morning gains on the BSE by close on Wednesday. At 3.35 p.m. the stock held gains of 2.97 per cent to trade at Rs 368 as against Rs 357.40 at close on Tuesday.
Mahindra & Mahindra rode up 2.17 per cent to trade at Rs 964 as against Rs 943.55 at close overnight.
Pharma stocks Dr Reddy's and Sun Pharma moved up, recording gains of over 1 per cent. While Dr Reddy's was trading at Rs 2,825.45, up 1.86 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 2,773.90, Sun Pharma was quoting at Rs 629.05 as against Rs 618.60 at close yesterday.
ITC was trading at Rs 327.10, a gain of 1.62 per cent on its overnight close of Rs 321.90.
