IT stocks Wipro, TCS and HCL Technologies continued to trade on a firm note on the NSE ahead of the close on Monday.
At 15.20 TCS was the top gainer, trading at Rs 2,342.25 as against Rs 2,213.05 at close last week, representing a gain of 5.84 per cent.
HCL Technologies extended its gains to trade at Rs 1,430.85, up 3.71 per cent on its previous close of Rs 1,379.65.
Wipro was firm but off its morning highs at Rs 572.80. This represented a gain of 3.64 per cent on Friday's close of Rs 552.70.
Sesa Sterlite spurted 2.52 per cent to trade at Rs 205.65. It had closed the previous week at Rs 200.60.
IndusInd Bank was the lone banking stock among the top gainers. It was quoting at Rs 434, up 2.52 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 423.35.
