Shares of National Aluminium Company (Nalco) will remain in focus, as its proposed buyback offer opens on Tuesday. The PSU major plans to buy back up to 64.43 crore equity shares at ₹44 a share on proportionate basis through the tender offer route. The buyback offer aggregates to ₹2,835 crore and the offer size represents 22.15 per cent of the aggregate of the fully paid-up share capital and free reserves of Nalco. The buyback window closes on September 14.
