Bharti Airtel rallied further to extend its morning gains at the close on Friday. The share ended the day at Rs 425.6. This represented a gain of 5.61 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 403.
Lupin perked up 5.07 per cent at Rs 1,833.25 as against Rs 1,744.75 at close overnight.
M&M, which announced a 39 per cent drop in net profit during the fourth quarter, drove up 5 per cent to trade at Rs 1,258.10 as against Rs 1,198.15 at close yesterday.
BPCL edged up further to hold gains of 3.97 per cent at Rs 850.15 as against Rs 817.70 at close yesterday.
Grasim Industries firmed up 3.67 per cent at Rs 3,640.65 as against Rs 3,511.85 overnight.
