Bosch has shut its Jaipur plant after Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board found the company to be flouting environmental norms and revoked the consent given to the plant.
The PCB gave orders for closure of the plant after it found that the unit was not fulfilling certain conditions on waste water treatment. The closure will lead to a loss of ₹2.5 crore daily, Bosch said.
Shares of Bosch may react negatively to the development.
