Shares of Atul Auto are likely to react negatively to its sales numbers for August. The company, in a post-market-hours announcement, said that its total sales rose 6.2 per cent year-on-year. In August last year, the company’s sales had risen 37.98 per cent year-on-year to 3,204 units. The slowdown in sales growth last month was on account of fewer working days owing to the holiday season in the Saurashtra region where the factory is located, the company explained.
