Sun Pharma held steady to emerge the top gainer on the BSE by close on Tuesday. On a day when the BSE lost more than a 100 points, stock gains were capped at well under 1 per cent.
At 3.35 pm Sun Pharma held gains of 0.59 per cent to quote at ₹638.95 as against its previous close of ₹635.20.
Coal India, which made modest gains of 0.39 per cent, was trading at ₹296.90 as against ₹295.75 at close yesterday.
HDFC was quoting at ₹886.70, up 0.20 per cent on its previous close of ₹884.95.
BHEL was barely changed at ₹186.90. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹186.75.
