Shares of Suzlon Energy will remain in focus on the open offer from billionaire Dilip Shanghvi-controlled entities along with the promoters of Suzlon. The open offer worth ₹2,837 crore aims at acquiring 26 per cent stake in the wind turbine maker. The offer price is ₹18 a share. The offer that closes on January 8, 2016, follows Shanghvi’s decision to acquire 23 per cent stake in Suzlon at an investment of ₹1,800 crore. The deal was announced earlier this year.
