IT stocks maintained their firm undertone to stay ahead of the pack near the close on the BSE on Thursday.
At 2.20 pm TCS was trading higher at ₹2,114, up 3.58 per cent on its overnight close of ₹2,040.95.
Wipro was up 2.06 per cent at ₹556.25 as against ₹545 at close yesterday.
Infosys advanced to hold gains of 1.55 per cent at ₹3,322.15 as against its Wednesday close at ₹3,271.55.
Hindustan Unilever extended its gains to 2.04 per cent at ₹573. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹561.55.
Pharma stock Sun Pharma edged down to hold gains of 1.22 per cent at ₹592.15, as against its overnight close of ₹585.
