Shares of Welspun Projects rose to a near three-and-a-half high in early trade on Monday.
Merrill Lynch Capital Markets has bought 1.5 million shares or 3.75 per cent stake in the company, according to NSE data.
Shares have gained about 54 per cent YTD.
After surging over 14 per cent to its highest since October 2011, Welspun Projects shares were quoting at Rs 41.35, up Rs 4.10 or 11.01 per cent on the BSE at 11.24 am.
