Wipro made further ground on the BSE by close on Thursday. It built up gains of 1.56 per cent at ₹536.65. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹528.40.
Larsen & Toubro traded firm to hold gains of 1.21 per cent at ₹1,670.40. The stock had closed yesterday’s session at ₹1,650.45.
Sun Pharma rose 0.85 per cent at ₹638. The stock had ended Wednesday’s session at ₹632.65.
Dr Reddy’s Labs, the top gainer on the BSE in the morning session, trimmed its gains by the close. It was quoting at ₹2,499 as against ₹2,479.35 at close on Wednesday. This represented a gain of 0.79 per cent.
Axis Bank was up 0.58 per cent at ₹1,925 as against ₹1,913.85 at close yesterday.
