Shares of Welspun Corp today gained as much as 13.9 per cent as the company’s December quarter consolidated net profit more than doubled.
According to traders, the earnings have boosted investors’ confidence as the stock was an underperformer.
Welspun stock gained 9.9 per cent in 2014 against broader NSE index’s 31.4 per cent gain.
