Standalone health insurer Cigna TTK Health Insurance has received IRDAI approval to increase its stake from 26 per cent to 49 per cent in the joint venture.
Cigna TTK Health is a joint venture between the US-based global health service leader Cigna Corporation and the TTK Group.
“The increase in investment will enable us to remain focused on expanding and strengthening our distribution network,” Sandeep Patel, managing director Cigna TTK Health Insurance, said.
