University of Hyderabad, which has been ranked among the top universities in the country, has advanced its admissions for the academic year 2013-14 to February.
“Till now, we had admission programmes and entrance tests in June every year. But from next academic year, the entrance examinations will be conducted during February 21-26, 2013,’’ Ramakrishna Ramaswamy, Vice-Chancellor, UoH, told newspersons here on Tuesday.
The online submission of applications on the university Web site ( www.uohyd.ac.in ) would start from December 21, 2012 and close on January 1, 2013.
The applicants can download hall tickets from February 14. The entrance exams would be conducted in 33 centres across the country, including 10 in Andhra Pradesh.
NEW COURSES
The 40-year-old central university is also offering two new courses from this year – master of Public Health and an integrated masters (five-year) programme in earth and space sciences.
