A major portion of Camlin Fine Chemicals unit at Boisar area here was gutted in fire in the wee hours today.
According to police, no one was hurt in the mishap.
The blaze erupted at around 3 a.m. and engulfed the entire godown where the raw material was stored, Boisar police said.
The cause for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
At least four fire tenders and over a dozen water tankers were pressed into service which managed to douse the flames after over five hours, they said.
