Indian Staffing Federation (ISF), an apex body of flexi staffing industry in India is organising a mega job fair in Vijayawada in partnership with Andhra Pradesh government at Nova College of Engineering and Technology on October 21.
N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh will be the Chief Guest, according to a statement.
ISF aims at bringing employment opportunities for 10, 000 jobs seekers in the State with about 100 companies participating in the event.
Youth who have completed BE, BPharma, Diploma, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.SC, B.com, Intermediate, 10th class and Allied courses are expected to take part.
Indian Staffing Federation has also signed a MoU with Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation to enhance the growth of the staffing industry and facilitate recruitment of blue collar and white-collar workforce in the state.
Andhra Pradesh is now at fifth place in India with 0.14 mn flexi workforce in the organised sector and has 6.6 per cent share in national flexi staff.
Rituparna Chakraborty, President, Indian Staffing Federation said, “We look forward for ISF’s collaboration with AP on the job fair to create lot of job opportunities.”
Currently ISF has a member base of over 50 employing about 500,000 employee workers.
