Union Minister of State for Informational Technology and Telecom Killi Kruparani on Monday said that a commemorative postage stamp will be released in honour of Puttaparthi Sri Satya Sai Baba on his birth anniversary this year.
She said Satya Sai Baba was an inspiration to people of all faiths. “He, as a preacher of the highest human values, was an iconic figure for over five decades, who inspired millions to lead a moral and meaningful life even as they followed the religion of their choice.”
Keeping in view his services to the humanity and particularly for the welfare of the people of Andhra Pradesh, the Minister took the initiative in directing the Department of Posts to release a commemorative postage stamp on him.
