Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has been awarded the “Honorary Life Fellowship 2011” of the All India Management Association (AIMA). According to a press statement, the award was conferred at the inauguration of the 39th AIMA National Management Convention in Mumbai. Salman Khurshid, Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Law and Justice, and Prithviraj Chavan, Chief Minister, Maharashtra, were present at the AIMA convention.
The citation of the award describes Sanjiv Goenka as “a new-age industrialist, an outstanding business leader and a proud Indian, who exemplifies the spirit of the 21st century entrepreneurial India”.
