Public sector oil exploration and production company, ONGC, said on Friday that Desh Deepak Misra will be the company’s new Director (Human Resources).
Misra, 56, will be in charge of employee relations for over 33,000 employees of ONGC from August 1.
Misra, a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Lucknow, had joined ONGC in January 1985 starting from the Baroda office of the company.
As Director (Human Resources), Misra’s prime agenda will be to professionally steer over 33,000 geoscientists, engineers and managers of the company.
