Jet Airways is introducing fifteen new flights out of Hyderabad to various destinations. The city would be developed as a mini hub for the airlines.
Hyderabad will be linked to Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada, Jaipur and Nagpur from March 27 in the summer schedule.
Operating with B737 and ATRs, Jet Airways will increase connectivity from the city, according to a press release.
Direct connections
The airline is also set to offer direct connections to Bhopal and Indore apart from providing additional frequencies to Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Visakhapatnam and Chennai in its summer schedule.
Jet Airways has decided to connect more destinations in central and northern India with its fleet of Boeing 737 and ATR 72 aircraft, thereby, paring travel durations from cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
Mini hub
According to Mr Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Operating Officer of Jet Airways; “We are keen to develop Hyderabad into a mini hub for southern India.
“With the increased flow of tourist and business traffic to and from Hyderabad, we are pleased to provide direct connections and additional frequencies to meet the growing demand.
“This move will help further expansion of our services, which presently connect over 47 domestic destinations and 24 international destinations across the globe.”
