Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) has secured three work orders from Goa and Karnataka governments worth Rs 297.11 crore, which includes construction and rehabilitation of transmission mains, and a drinking water project worth of Rs 241.50 crore awarded by Goa. “The work was taken up under Japan International Cooperation Agency loan by the Goa Water supply and Sewerage Project Department, The consortium with MEIL, Sudhir Projects and Pratibha Company Limited secured this order,” Mr B. Srinivasa Reddy, Director, Meil, in a statement said. MEIL has bagged two more work orders from Bidar Municipality of Karnataka. The value of these orders is Rs 55.60 crore. One is ‘New Bulk water supply and New water treatment plant for Bidar city worth of Rs. 28.03 crore, another is rehabilitation of distribution system for Bidar city' worth of Rs. 27.58 crore. These works are intended to improve drinking water supply in Bidar.
