Bajaj Auto has reported 10 per cent growth in December sales at 2,76,803 units backed by its popular brands Pulsar and Discover.
Sales during December 2009 stood at 2,52,004 units, the company said in a statement here.
In the motorcycle segment, the company had sold 2,43,675 units in December 2010 registering an increase of 11 per cent against 2,19,920 units in the same month of the previous year.
Pulsar and Discover registered 70 per cent of the company’s sales, the statement said.
In the commercial vehicle category, Bajaj Auto witnessed a marginal increase of five per cent by selling 33,128 units (31,575 units).
Besides, the company witnessed a slight increase of 4 per cent in the exports segment. It had sold 95,388 units in December 2010 compared with 91,369 units sold in December 2009.
