Ramky Infrastructure Ltd, has registered a 112 per cent growth in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010, at Rs 43.31 crore as against Rs 20.44 crore it logged for the corresponding quarter last year.

The company revenue for the third quarter was up 95.91 per cent at Rs 793.30 crore, up from Rs 404.94 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Earnings per share stood at Rs 7.62 as against Rs 4.14.

Net sales for the first nine months was up 61.16 per cent at Rs 1,719.21 crore as against Rs 1,067 crore for the corresponding period last year. The net profit was up 70.15 per cent at Rs 94.86 crore (Rs 55.75 crore).

On a consolidated basis, Ramky reported net sales of Rs 835.62 crore for the third quarter as against Rs 449.55 crore, thereby reflecting a growth of 85.88 per cent. Its net profit was up at Rs. 46.51 crore, up 93.83 per cent over Rs. 23.99 crore for the same period last year.

The company said it recently bagged 14 projects worth Rs 702 crore, and now has an order book of Rs 11,915 crore.

The company shares ended the day-trade at Rs 266.15 as against previous close of Rs 255.25.
