The local head office of State Bank of India has opened its financial planning advisory services (FPAS) centre at the Personal Banking Branch at General Hospital Junction here on Thursday.
Inaugurating the centre, Mr B. S. Bhasin, Chief General Manager, Kerala Circle of SBI, said that this is an exclusive vertical of the bank to cater to the requirement of its customers for various financial planning needs.
It will provide exclusive services for assessing and determining current financial situation and goals, develop comprehensive plans, monitor progress and rebalance portfolio for its customers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr A. K. Agarwal, General Manager, SBI, said that customers could now take the help of the centre for finding out and implementing strategies for retirement planning, investment plans such as buying a dream home, other valuable assets, financing important events (education and marriage of children) and taking proper insurance cover.
