Steel Exchange India Ltd has received a conversion order from Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) to roll out TMT (thermo mechanically treated) bars from billets supplied by RINL.
The conversion charges shall be paid per tonne of converted products including transportation and are fixed throughout the period of contract.
B. Satish Kumar, Managing Director, Steel Exchange India, in a statement said: “The order is for conversion of 10,000 tonnes per month. The contract, to be effective for one year, has the option for extension by one more year on mutual consent.’’
The production will be carried out at the rolling mill located at Sreerampuram Village, L-Kota Mandal, Vizianagaram District of Andhra Pradesh.
