Elecon Engineering Company Ltd on Monday said it has been awarded an order worth Rs 46.97 crore by Tecpro Systems Ltd. The order is for design-to-commissioning of various equipment for the Kanti Bijali Projects of NTPC at Muzaffarpur, Uttar Pradesh, said Prayasvin Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, Elecon. Established in 1951, the Gujarat-based Elecon Engineering is a pioneer in the manufacture of bulk material handling equipment to core sectors such as fertilizer, cement, coal/power generation, chemical, steel plant and port mechanisation across the country.
