Fortis Malar Hospitals Ltd, a subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare Ltd, has taken over operations and management of the Cardiac Centre at Oasis Hospitals Ltd, Colombo. According to a press release from Fortis, Oasis Hospitals is a 170-bed facility and the plan is to provide tertiary-level treatment and care in cardiology and cardiac surgery with the support of Fortis Malar. The renamed Fortis Oasis Cardiac Centre will be fully equipped to cover all aspects of cardiac care ranging from prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitated cardiac care, says the release. —
