Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) on Wednesday said its profit after tax had dropped 6.52 per cent to Rs 92.75 crore during July-September.
The compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped cooking gas seller had reported a net profit of Rs 99.22 crore during the same period in the previous year.
Total income during the second quarter increased to Rs 1,013.87 crore (Rs 858.50 crore).
IGL shares fell 1.34 per cent to close at Rs 286.55 on the BSE on Wednesday.
