Auto manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has reported 19.66 per cent jump in February sales at 33,378 units against 27,894 units in the corresponding month of 2010.

In the domestic market, the company registered a rise of 20.27 per cent in sales at 31,967 units during the period compared with 26,580 units in the year-ago period, M&M said in a statement.

Total sales of utility vehicles, including Scorpio, Xylo, Bolero and Pick-Ups, stood at 14,288 units (12,813 units), up 11.51 per cent. Sales of the Logan sedan went up by over two-fold to 1,151 units from 537 units.

The company said sales of three-wheelers and Gio and Maxximo mini-trucks during February jumped by 57.24 per cent to 5,725 units from 3,641 units during the same month last year. Light commercial vehicle sales from Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd stood at 900 units (856 units), a rise of 5.14 per cent.

Exports during the month jumped by 7.38 per cent to 1,411 units from 1,314 units during February 2010.
