Medical equipment maker Midmark (India) Pvt Ltd is rolling out modern experiences centres across major locations in India to showcase its products and solutions. Speaking to newspersons after inaugurating its experience centre here on Thursday, Managing Director Sumeet Aggarwal said the company, arm of Dayton (Ohio)-based Midmark Corporation, with a presence in Italy and France, was expanding its operations. “We have an expansion plan which includes a strategic network of 19 experience centres, including two international ones,’’ he said.
Midmark had already launched centres in Kolkata, Jaipur, Chennai, Varanasi, Bhubaneswar, Shillong, Pune, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Kozhikode, Jodhpur, Agra and the latest one in Hyderabad. The remaining will be opened in the days to come. The international centres will come up in Bangladesh and Nepal.
The company, which is mainly engaged in the areas of medical furniture, including hospitals beds and OPD spaces, diagnostics, homecare and skill development, has a plant in Umargaon, Gujarat. Midmark now has a 45,000-bed capacity per annum, Aggarwal said.
