Stabiliser OEM supplier Realgard Power Systems today announced the launch of its one-box stabiliser for all home appliances.

The one-box stabiliser, OVCB (overall voltage circuit breaker), has been developed in-house by the Thrissur, Kerala-based Realgard.

The company, which supplies stabilisers to some of the leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Godrej Appliances and Whirlpool, seeks to provide a single box voltage management solution for various home and office appliances.

It complements the circuit breakers that guard against power surge.

Addressing a press conference here today to launch its products in tie up with Green Technologies in Andhra Pradesh, Mr Srikumar, Managing Director of Realgard, said the company has developed the OVCB product in-house through its research and development team and is in the process of securing a patent for the solution.

“The company's production is handled by the BPL plant at Palghat. We have also developed a solar photovoltaic-based home power solution, which is to be launched shortly. This is ideal for handling peak demand requirements,” he said.

The company, which has introduced its products in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and now in Andhra Pradesh, plans to shortly offer them in Maharashtra and gradually across various parts of the country through local partners, he said.
