Leading consumer electronics player Surya group today said it eyes Rs 450 crore turnover by 2020 from fan business.
“The group’s fans and home appliances business was launched in 2013. The division has achieved a turnover of Rs 250 crore in FY17 and we expect our fan business to touch Rs 450 crore mark by 2020. The country’s fan market is around Rs 5,500 crore and it will touch around Rs 8,600 crore by 2020,” Surya Group Managing Director B Raju said.
The company has launched an innovative fan design and focused on energy efficient products to save energy, Raju said.
