Suven Life Sciences Ltd has obtained three products patents, one each from Canada, African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation and South Korea for its New Chemical Entities (NCEs) for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
The granted claims of the patents include the class of selective 5 HT compounds discovered by Suven and are being developed as therapeutic agents and are useful in the treatment of cognitive associated with neurodegenerative diseases, the Hyderabad based company said in a release issued here on Tuesday.
Suven’s scrip gained 2.11 per cent after opening of trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange today and is trading at Rs 266.
