Torrent Pharma Limited posted standalone net profit of ₹277 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2018, up from ₹158 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year ago, a growth of about 75 per cent year-on-year.
The company’s net income from operations for the quarter stood at ₹1,472 crore (₹1,025 crore). For the first half (April-September) its standalone net profit stood at ₹399 crore on net income of ₹2,924 crore.
On consolidated basis, Torrent Pharma posted a net profit of ₹179 crore for the quarter (₹204 crore). Total net consolidated income from operations stood at ₹1,894 crore (₹1,417 crore).
Consolidated revenues for the quarter grew by 34 per cent, while net profit fell by about 12 per cent. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹478 crore, higher by 18 per cent.
