Torrent Power Ltd posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 45.62 crore, down 79 per cent from Rs 223.16 crore reported in the same period last year.
The company's total income from operations stood at Rs 2,588.73 crore as against Rs 3,072.27 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company's earnings per share of Rs 10 each stood at Rs 0.95 as against Rs 4.64 for the same period last year.
Torrent Power shares traded at Rs 172.20 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday.
